Ready to move beyond the basics? This immersive workshop is designed for tarot readers who are familiar with card meanings and simple spreads—but want to build more confidence, depth, and fluidity in their readings. Together, we’ll explore how to move from memorisation to intuitive synthesis, uncover richer card relationships, and read for others with clarity and confidence.
What You’ll Learn:
How to combine cards dynamically for layered interpretations
Reading multiple card combinations like a conversation
Creating and adapting custom spreads for different types of questions
Techniques to tap into your intuition and move beyond the guidebook
Working with reversals and clarifier cards effectively
Ethical considerations
This workshop is ideal for tarot readers who:
Know the general meanings of the cards
Have some experience reading for themselves or others
Want to deepen their interpretive skills and reading presence

Duration: 2 hours
Format: In-person learning and practising with others in the workshop
Materials Needed: A tarot deck you’re comfortable with, a notebook or journal
*Some decks are available to use if you’d like to practice with the Rider-Waite Smith deck
Optional: Think of questions you can use for exercises
Where: The Shady Lady - 36 Johnston St, Fitzroy, 3065. This workshop takes places in the covered/heated courtyard. Close to public transport (11 and 96 Trams / Street parking available)
When: 28/6/2025 @ 3pm sharp. Please arrange to be on site 5-10 mins early. Please note Dusty’s cafe next door will be open for coffee while you wait.
Shady Lady will be closed to the public, so the door will be locked once the workshop commences.
Tea and water will be provided.
Fee $65 pp - Tix are non-refundable/non-transferrable.
The Shady Lady opens to the public at 5pm. Please feel free to stay for questions and a drink afterwards *optional
